This Wednesday’s workout is a straight forward body weight exercise routine from Bret Contreras, the Glute Guy. Saying that Bret is only a glute expert does a disservice to the hip and posterior chain training he shares.
Those of us office dwellers that train to become super efficient at sitting can really benefit from some counter training to straighten us back out. My quest to find good hip and glute training methods led me to Bret’s blog and YouTube videos.
Bret put together a full body workout that can easily be done in the comfort of your home. So there is no excuse not to try it. The workout can be done in 3 sets of 10 reps of single leg squats, single leg hip thrusters (Each side), inverted table rows, and 3 sets of 20 reps of between chair pushups. You can do it for rounds like demonstrated in the video or slow the pace down and finish each set before rotating to the next exercise.
Give it a try and let me know how it goes for you (or if you use any variations to the four exercises)!
